Audio Blog: agallamh le deasaiche am Pàipear

Unread post by Gràisg »

'A new method of recording is being tested out here, which may come in useful for both teachers and learners. All you need is a phone – landline or mobile – and the technology does the rest, right through to publication on the Internet.

Am Pàipear, the Uist community newspaper, will be featuring as one of the topics of the new series of video materials, but here you can hear a couple of very short interviews about their recent award as 2010 Community Newspaper of the Highlands and Islands.'

This is a bit of a silly one, if you ask me.

Why would anyone not au fait with computers want to produce an audio blog? And why would anyone au fair with computers produce an audio blog via his phone rather than his computer?

Hello. Tha mise nam bhall ùr san fhòram seo. Chan eil cead agam URL a chur sa chiad phost a sgrìobhas mi, ach tha freagairtean agam dha na ceistean aig Niall Beag. Tha mi 'n dòchas gum bi cead agam URL a chur san ath phost.

San fharsaingeachd 's fheàrr leam fhèin a bhith a' bruidhinn na Gàidhlig, seach a bhith ga sgrìobhadh. Tha mi a' smaoineachadh gu bheil freagairtean agam dha na ceistean a tha Nìall a' togail. Ma tha duine sam bith airson an cluinntinn gheibhear an seo iad:

Fàilte ort! :smeid:

'S e rud an aghaidh nan spam bots a th' ann nach b' urrainn dhut ceangal a chur a-steach sa chiad phost agad ;)

Tha mi ag aontachadh gu bheil e math dòighean ùra is nas fhasa fhaighinn gus cuisean a chur an àirde. Cha chleachd mi fhìn an làrach ud air sgàth 's gu bheil mi glè eòlach air choimpiùtairean an darna taobh agus chan eil mi deònach an àireamh fòn agam a thoirt dhan bhuidheann air an làimh eile.

Agus mura h-eil daoine comasach air teicneaolas chan eil seo a' ciallachadh nach eil iad deònach a bhith a' gabhail pàirt ann an deasbaid, nach eil?

Seo Jeff Jarvis a-mach air Google Buzz, rinn e liosta de rudan a mhothaich e. Seo fear aca:

'* Voice is rising in importance: You an post a buzz using only voice from your mobile device (read: while driving). This is one reason why Google has been working (through Goog411) to get better and better at voice recognition. Will the keyboard become less important? Will we post more when all we have to do is talk? Will Google then have more to organize for us?'

Agus rudeigin eile a thuirt e '' S e an t-eadar-lìn an lin-soisealta a th'againn':

'* Social. Google has tried to attack social before and failed. Microsoftlike, it’s trying again. I am disappointed that its interface with Twitter, for example, is only one-way: I can bring Twitter into Buzz but not use Buzz to publish to Twitter. Silly. I’ve long said that the winner in social is not a site; the internet is our social network. The winner will be the company that helps us organize that. To do that, it must be open to all input and output. That’s where we should be looking with Google and Facebook. In that sense, Twitter is ahead of both of them.'

Tha mi 'n dòchas nach fhaigh am meur-chlàr nas neo-chudromaiche. 'S dòcha gum fàs Google nas fheàrr "at voice recognition", ach cha chreid mi gum faigh mise nas fheàrr ann... (Gàidhlig no Beurla no Seacais - aon rud)
