Dè na h-abairtean seo sa Bheurla?
Well, it's not an easy task. For instance, how would you tr*nsl*t* something like the following into Gaelic:-
He's dead from James's; let tìme strength was with you; Johnny is from Five alive! grab before you, do my day.
I mean, one or two I think I've got, but one or two are a mystery to me. And I am pretty good at English!
The second one, I think, is "May the force be with you": if I was putting it into Gaelic, I might try something like "Bitheadh an Neart agad/agaibh" (but I think "leat/leibh" would be OK there). The last one - I was having a bit of fun: what you've got would probably do for, e.g. "Go on, make may day", which is probably what you were thinking of. The other two - you've lust me.
