Am Faclair Beag omits these, because vowels are long before rr+consonant anyway.

Just make sure the accent isn't on the e, because then the pronunciation would be an or [ia] or something like that instead of an [a], like in brèagha, dèanamh.

Macfarlane's and my old printed Dwelly's gives dèarrsadh and McBain gives deàrrsadh and so does Colin Mark. Online Dwelly's says dearrsadh. I have also been taught that the double rr would make the srac redundant anyway as the a would be long by default. Is Macfarlane wrong or has the word changed in pronunciation over the years as is the case with some other words .
Dèarrsadh would make both vowels long, wouldn't it ?
