Gaelic Speakers in Dundee/Angus}

Hiya,

Does anyone know if there's such a thing as a 'Gaelic meet up' or such, in Dundee, or near Dundee or Tayside area?

I'm a beginner, Intermediate Beginner, but my spelling is quite bad, but I've heard of classes in Glasgow where people all meet up and have a beer or two, and speak Gaelic, everyone of abilities. It would be interesting if something like this is available near me?

Have you asked the Tayside Language Centre? If I'm not mistaken, the TLC was a spin-off of a local FE college Lifelong Education department -- when the council cut the departmental funding the teachers just got together and started up again on their own.

They don't seem to have regular Gaelic conversation groups at the moment, but I know they've had conversation days in the past, and the might be holding a list of "interested parties" that you could get your name on.
